Join The Threshold

Become part of a growing community of outdoor enthusiasts, hunters, and shooting sports participants.

What We're Building Here

The Threshold exists for one reason: to connect local shooters, hunters, and outdoor recreationalists with genuine knowledge, trusted resources, and each other. We started this because the local community deserved a place where experience mattered more than marketing, and where real conversations could happen.

Whether you're new to shooting sports, a seasoned hunter, or somewhere in between, we created this space for people like you. No gatekeeping. No sales tactics. Just folks who care about this lifestyle, sharing what we've learned.

How to Get Involved

There are three main ways to connect with The Threshold, depending on what matters most to you:

  1. Join Our Email Newsletter. We send monthly updates: upcoming range days, hunting season prep guides, gear reviews from members who've actually used the equipment, and announcements about local events. One email a month, nothing more. You'll be the first to know about community meetups and get exclusive member resources.
  2. Attend a Community Event. We host quarterly range meetups, seasonal hunting preparation workshops, and safety-focused group shoots. Events are open to all skill levels. You'll meet the people who run this community in person, swap stories, and pick up knowledge from folks with real field experience. No RSVP required—just show up.
  3. Participate in Local Discussions. Check our updates page regularly for posts on current topics: changes to local regulations, gear reviews, hunting season planning, range reports. Each post has a comment section where members share their own experience and expertise. Respect for different approaches is the only rule.

Why Join Now

The outdoor and shooting sports community in this area is stronger than it's ever been. More people are discovering these pursuits. More events are happening. More conversations are starting. But it's easy to feel alone when you're just starting out, or disconnected when you've been doing this for years.

The Threshold fills that gap. You'll get better at what you do because you're around people who care. You'll stay safer because you're learning from experience, not just reading. You'll have friends who get it—who understand why you wake up early for a season opener, why equipment matters, why safety is non-negotiable.

All it takes is showing up—to an event, to the newsletter, to a conversation. That's how it starts.
