How Much Does Social Media Marketing Cost?

I was reading and article on how much does social media marketing cost. This quote below pretty much sums it up.

Creating a comprehensive strategy for social media marketing and outsourcing all work for all channels (with a minimum of two social networks) costs anywhere from $3,000-$20,000 per month, with the industry average settling between $4,000-$7,000 per month. If you want the social media agency to start the accounts from scratch and consult on a 4- to 12-month contract, you’ll pay between $3,000-$15,000 per month. What do they mean by channels, minimum of two? That’s just a fancy way of saying that the cost includes both Facebook and Twitter…I’m betting there’s probably an upcharge if your company wants Google+, too. — Content Factory

They then go on to claim a spot dead center in that spectrum, while I claim a spot near the bottom of that spectrum.

Why do I dispute that social media marketing cost?

I have a system. I’ve been using it for years, and have taught a handful of select small business proprietors how to use it. It works. It’s efficient. It’s productive. I offer training in how you too can achieve social media marketing success …

Poker’s small slothoki world

…just a brief entry to freak out a little.

A few weeks ago, I sat in a poker tournament across from a guy I’d never met before. He was a friend of a fellow poker blogger. He came along to pony up the $50 buy-in, have a little fun, and bust out of the tourney first.

In case you don’t know, when I’m not a poker playing Otis, I’m a journalist who often covers the court system.

Flash forward to a criminal trial I covered all of last week: The last slothoki on the stand (and perhaps the one that convinced the defendant to cop a plea) was a guy by the same name as the guy who played in the tourney.

2004 WSOP Episodes #5 & #6

Turns out, he did not only have the same name, but also the same DNA.

Now, I’m fully aware of how small a world it is, but it freaks me out a little bit that a poker blogger I only met a month or so ago also happens to be friends with a guy who played a major role in a case I’ve been covering for the past year and a …

His Year Rolls On: Erik Seidel Wins the Five Star bandar judi pulsa High Roller Event

If you are a golf fan, you have been privileged to watch Tiger Woods plying his craft from 1997 until now.  Granted, his last 18 months have been marred by personal problems, injuries, and a golf swing that seems to be in constant flux, but on the whole, you and I have never seen a man dominate golf as he has done.  Consider the following:  Woods has won 71 PGA Tour Events and 14 Majors, both tops among active players.  He was the fastest player to ever reach the 50 win plateau, leads all golfers in career winnings, and has piled up 11 World Golf Titles as well.  By every measurable standard, you’ve seen a golfing legend when you see Eldrick ‘Tiger’ Woods on the course.  And yet this is a poker article, but Woods is relevant, because I’ll suggest to you now that Erik Seidel’s run of live tournament success thus far in 2011 is poker’s equivalent to Woods on the links.  If you’ve not yet noticed the run of tournament success that Seidel has built up in this calendar year, allow us to bring you up to speed on a legendary streak of excellence.

The thing about …

slickkid08 wins Full Tilt Poker꽁머니 환전 XVI Event #27

The various Full Tilt Online Poker Series have featured hundreds of different events since the festival began in 2006. The old stalwarts remain popular, with big-buy in Omaha freezeouts and cheap NLHE rebuys the order of the day for many tournaments, but the Full Tilt schedulers try their best to add a dash of innovation to every series. Event #27 of 꽁머니  XVI is just such an event, a mish-mash of styles and rules that captured the imagination of a select group of intrepid trailblazers.

A total of 1,069 entrants coughed up the $515 + $20 to play in this No Limit Hold ‘em Knockout Super Turbo tournament with minuscule starting stacks. Every player began with just 300 chips and a bounty on their head, leading to some breakneck action as an entirely shortstacked field vied to build up chips and eliminate their opponents. For every player sent packing, entrants pick up $115 sliced off from the vanquished player’s buy-in. The rest of the money goes straight into the prize pool, to make a final table spot still worth fighting for. There was a conservative guarantee of $350,000 placed on the main prizepool, which was comfortably topped, …

Full-Tilt-Poker Leaderboards – April Winners

Not much changed in the FTP Leaderboard positional stats for the last two days of April as players kicked it into high gear to keep their top ten positions for April’s prizes.  As usual, some of the most decorated players to compete since I’ve been covering the Full Tilt Leaderboards are occupying top notch positions in the overall top ten for April.  This is a pattern that is likely to recur each month as those who are skilled in their ways generally find their way to the top much easier than the luckboxes.

FlopTurnRiver keeps track of the FTP Leaderboard results daily and keeps them archived on the Full Tilt network page which can be found here: Leaderboard-Calendar.  Simply scroll down to the leaderboard section and select whichever day you feel like viewing.  It’s a great way to see how players are progressing as time goes on.

The Netherlands hk prize Online Gaming

In a move starkly contrasting with their anti-online gambling stance, the new Dutch government has proposed a regulation system similar to those already up and running in several European nations.

“It is a big shift,” government hk prize Jaap Oosterveer told Reuters, “but this is a new government with a more liberal approach.”

The Netherlands’ previous legislative body wanted nothing to do with online gaming, and made several decisions in keeping with that philosophy. These included defeats of both Ladbrokes and Betfair, each of whom have previously challenged the authority of the gambling laws.

But with hundreds of thousands of Dutch citizens openly circumventing the current laws, it would seem that the government’s new approach features a great deal of common sense. Such was the argument of state secretary of security and justice Fredrik Teeven, in a letter he recently penned to the Dutch Parliament. The argument here is simple: By passing a system of online gaming regulation, the government stands to gain an estimated €10m next year, from the auction of internet gaming and lottery licenses alone. A great deal of further profit will emerge once the taxes begin flowing in from the tables.

Similar laws …

Review of Super/System

Along with David Sklansky’s Hold’em Poker, Doyle Brunson’s Super/System, originally titled How I Made Over $1,000,000 Playing Poker, heralds the beginning of what I would call the “modern age” of poker. More than anything else, I believe that the rise in poker’s popularity over the last 25 years is due to the amount of good information that has been made available about the game, and Super/System is preeminent among the information sources that brought about this surge in popularity. However, it may be asked, how does this classic stand up more than 20 years after its initial publication?

The book begins with some introductory remarks, including an abbreviated history of Brunson’s poker career, before the author launches into some general strategies for winning poker. This is all stuff that today’s well-read poker player will take for granted: keep emotional control, carefully watch the competition, play patiently, etc., but it’s pretty much all good advice. I can’t say I completely agree with Brunson’s feelings about ESP, but the information he provides isn’t damaging.

Then, for the bulk of the book, Brunson has someone he considers to be a true expert in a given poker game lay out their advice on how …

Video 789bet login Poker Appendix 5

Rules

This appendix presents my analysis of Chase the Royal video poker. The rules for Chase the Royal are as follows:

The game is based on conventional video poker. The player may choose among four different video poker variations and either 3-play, 5-play, or 10-play.

If the player is dealt a pair of jacks, queens, or kings and made a max coin bet then the player may exchange the high pair for 3 cards to a royal flush. This Chase the Royal option does not apply if the pair is part of a higher hand (for example a two pair) or if the player also has 4 cards to a straight or royal flush.

The 3 cards to a royal shall be chosen at random from among the 40 possible (4 suits by 10 ways to choose 3 ranks out of 5). The player may see the specific three cards before deciding to switch.

If the player opts to chase the royal then the other two cards will be dealt immediatly from the remaining 49 cards in the deck.

As an incentive to chase the royal a straight shall pay 10 and a flush shall pay …
